One question, I'm a total noob when it comes to using Ai.
Everytime I try to use the brush, it won't let me...

And what you've done here look as if you just drawn it in PS with a tablet. How do you do so?

I hope this isn't inappropriate, I really want to learn how to use Ai

very nice, esp the crouching figure at the bottom & the eyes. I find that putting the 'soul' into vector eyes to be very hard. Nicely done!
